PTE – Unconstrained Equipment Report

Purpose: Calculate the Uncontrolled, Controlled, and % Removal for each compound that was emitted from all production in the report folder. The point source emissions for each process are calculated based on the maximum number of batches that can be made in a single year. The estimated number of batches for each process is displayed on a second worksheet in the report. In addition, this analysis assumes that there are no equipment conflicts between processes.

Description: All production records are grouped based on a customizable list of fields (Activity Type, Batch Name, Vent ID, …) and totaled. The final results are reported in accordance to the selected Classification Set. For each compound the Uncontrolled, Controlled, and % Removal is listed.

Additional Requirements: A Report Classification Set must be selected from the list of existing Classification Sets. Grouping fields are optionally selected and ordered by the user. All settings are saved with the report document ready to run the next time.

Application: This report displays emissions from point sources as they exist in basic Emission Master process (filling, heating, …), storage tank, or combustion models. This report will not display fugitive emissions. Fugitive emissions occur from piping and equipment connections in the field and point source emissions occur from basic process operations where the equipment is vented to the atmosphere through a connection.
