How can I create
an Emission Master storage tank emission file from Excel?
Answer - Emission
Master supports an Excel import protocol. See
Tank Farm Import tutorial.

A thermal
oxidizer went out of service for a period of time. Can Emission Master
help analyze the processes that were operating during the outage and determine what the emissions were during this
time frame?
Answer - Emission
Master has a built-in utility for analyzing one or more processes that ran in
the factory at the same time. The analysis shows what would have been
emitted under normal conditions, under conditions when the control device was
out of service, and the emission difference between both conditions. See
Control Device Abnormality
Report. |

Does Emission
Master support reactions and other operations where the batch composition
changes such as extraction, precipitation, and dissolving operations?
Answer - Emission
Master 7.6 contains a basic Reaction Model where the batch composition can be
changed. The model relies upon stoichiometry that the user has entered.
When the model is implemented, reactants are scaled and removed from the process
and replaced in the batch by the reaction products that have also been entered.
This model can be used for extraction, precipitation, and dissolving operations.
